I can't believe my own coach thought I was calling myself a cornhusker Sad

I'll be returning to those mountains early next month. I'm sure Hammer will sucker me into one of those runs at 8000+ at which time I will become a corn-spewer. (Not to be confused with cornhusker).

You haven't really puked until you've hurled in the rare air during one of coachd's religon thursday workouts.

No DG, just giving you grief on the 'husker deal. Good to hear you'll be back. Adam is coming back out to train with Chuck (he was running for Athletics East) and get his teaching certificate. Another guy (2:26 for the marathon--he claims) is talking pretty seriously about coming out from Jan-May. As for religion Thursdays...I wish I had a few more guys who knew what it felt like to puke at 7500 feet...alas, they are getting fewer and farther between.

Who knows what the future holds coach. I'm still considering going after my masters. In which case you may have one more. It all depends on what happens up here.

You know were saving a spot for you...anytime. The masters will help. Add that to your experience at Kearney, get in shape and post some more good times--makes you very marketable. Give me a call when you come down. By the way, did I tell you we're (well, Liz)is having a baby? Actually a week overdue as we speak!

I don't think you had told me, but I'd heard it from either Chuck or Hammer. I'll be sure and look you up, maybe we can get the group together (you, me, Chuck, Hammer, and Joe) and go have a sandwich at Dicks or something. Depending on when she has the baby and all.
