___I read on the IAAF web page that the shot putters would be paid prime money for prime throws, just like during the meet in New York. It may be as well that the field events will the best part of the U.S. Indoor Championships in Track and Field.
__Most U.S. athletes do hide in hibernation, until the time of the Olympics comes. However, most of them should come out from the winter hideouts during the U.S. outdoor championships, later this year, to qualify for the world championships.
___This should make it interesting: I believe that with disqualifications because the tip of the knife pointed at the United States about a couple years ago (it seems that the world anti-doping authorities never go after all drug cheats, but choose one particular federation each couple years, and go after the athletes from this federation), some athletes getting old and injury—prone, the new wave will completely sweep the all guard away during the World Championships’2005 this year in Finland (I bet that many Polish athletes will die to qualify, since Finland can be reached through a ferry boat within half-a-day). It began during the Olympics, but it should end this year.
