Hi, first time posting. My problem: I can run 4-5 miles no problem when I run (about every other day). I always hit (plus or minus ten secs.) a ten minute mile without fail. I'm 5'7", 155 lbs. and run at a vigorous pace (for me). What can I do to lower my times? I really would like to get to at least an eight minute mile.

Thanks and keep running,
moviola

The basic formula: To run faster, you need to decrease the distance until you can hold the pace, then work on increasing the distance again at that pace. Vary your runs with long/short, slow/fast and work on different aspects.
