Can anyone help me figure out why I'm getting very bad headaches after most long runs? I believe I am hydrating well, before and after, and I always eat breakfast before I run (carbos).

Just off the top of my head, here's what I know causes me headaches on occasion:

under-hydration, even mild levels

eye strain (not wearing glasses; probably not a problem for running unless maybe you would benefit from sunglasses?)

heat

not enough or too much sugar.

How long before running do you eat? I find that if I don't allow 3-4 hours to digest, my body reminds me not-too-kindly in a variety of ways.
