I am trying to locate a table which equates your particular performance in one event with what it would be in another. Example, let's say I ran a 9:16 2-mile, what does that equal in the one mile? I realize that just because you can do it in one doesn't mean you can do it in both.

Rule of 17: (amazingly accurate)
take your mile time, double it, add 17 seconds per mile (34 seconds). Working backwards you'll see that you should be able to run 4:20.5

That does seem to be pretty close, although it obviously gets a bit further off with each mile increment.
