I have not yet decided on what school I will run for next year. I am looking at Wyoming, Louisiana Tech and Arkansas-Little Rock. I am curious to know if training at 7000 (Wyoming) for 4 years almost not stop is a good thing or a bad thing. I know that altitude training is good, but for some reason I hear of athletes doing training blocks of a few weeks at altitude, just wondering if too long up there has any dissadvantages.
Also, does anyone have any suggestions on which school I should attend?

My impression of altitude training is that it is beneficial for any length of time, but the benefit does not increase significantly after a period of a few weeks. That doesn't mean you lose the benefit, just that you don't gain any more.

I don't know anything about any of the three schools, so I can't help you there.

Cheers,
Dan
