just wonderin if anyone pulled a hamstring or stretched it. My wife and i joined a club and did a class called Blast..they did lunges with 12# weights..I've never done them but felt it for 3 days later..sheeshh felt like i fell off a building..anyway did (2) 1/2 marathons in 2 weeks..on the last one i felt a tinge near the bottom of my buns then it kind of slowly spread down..now i still can run but my leg won't stretch out by itself..i have to focus on it..any suggestions? thanks Tim

Stretching will help some, but by far the most effective thing will be deep tissue massage. Ask around and try to find someone really good, as there is a huge difference between "specialists." The right person can cure a bad hamstring in only one or two treatments.
