I am planning to direct a race in my community and have been looking for some resources on the web for suggestions and strategies. I would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks!

I haven't read it, but this could be helpful, How to Put on a Road Race. Also, here are several event management companies that may have resources.

My #1 suggestion is to plan early and do as much as you can to get the word out.
