I just finished the Lejeune Marathon at 4:05. I had trained for a 3:50 but could not make it. The question I have is how much do you lose due to temperature. The temp was ~75 and the whole thing was in the sun on asphalt. It was just plain warm. Any ideas.

I'm not sure what the time factor is, but I'm sure it's based on a percentage of your overall time. Those definitely are not ideal conditions for a marathon, but everyone is affected differently. The recent winner of the women's US marathon championships pr'd by something like 7 minutes on a day when everyone else suffered from the heat, and she's from Alaska!
