Dear Clyde,
Judging by the Grecian ability to meet deadlines, my guess is somewhere between a minute prior to the first event and several hours after the Olympics are over. |

usually there are start lists only about the first day events(the day before)

Start lists "should" come out during the first week of the Games ... Track and field is not until the second week ... So I would expect that start lists for the first couple of days should be solidified by mid week after the start of the Games ...

I'm with Conway. Preliminary lists (declarations) are likely to be out earlier, but they may well not be finalized (scratches and lane changes ... and drug bans) until day of.
