The Texas Relays impressed once more

There was a great time for Texas' Women's 4x4 relay (3:23.75), especially since there were 50.1s and 50.3s relay legs for Jerrika Chapple (19yo) and Sanya Richards (19yo), that's promising for the future of the Women's 400m...

'IAAF.org Report' says that Greene gained ground (about one or two foot) on JJ Johnson...Was JJ not running hard, or is Greene actually back to good form??? IAAF.org seems to think so, as it also mentions that 'Greene seems to be fully fit for the firts time since Edmonton' (2001 WCH), sounds promising for the up and coming season...

Larry Wade ran 13.13s for 110mh opener!!! That's great for him, he seems to getitng over the problems that have plauged him in the last couple of years. I believe he had a broken arm either last year or the year before? Can anyone confirm this?

DaBryan Blanton seems to be one of the main figures of the US youth sprinting depth...fastets legal time of 10.22s (+1.4m/s), possibly the next guy to become a member of the sub-10.00 club in the near future??? I thought he would do it, especially after his 10.07s last year...Good luck to him...Steve Mullins (JAM) ran 10.05w (+2.9m/s) and Brendan Christian ran 10.13w (+2.2m/s), good performances, let's hope they can keep it up
for the season...

Reports from Texas say that Greene and Patton both looked exceptionally well ... Apparently Greene had to stop to take the pass from Boldon and then start again and still made up ground on JJ ... If that is true then Greene is indeed healthy ... THAT would make this season very interesting ...

Wade ran 13.34 last weekend at Stanford but his 13.13 is none the less an outstanding time for this time of the year ....

Not as excited about Blanton as I am with Mullings and Christian ... Although unfortunately neither is American ... Also another sub 49 in the 400H by the freshman Bershawn Jackson !!! The kid has 47 written all over him right now ...

Also fast 4x4s for Baylor and Florida both going under 3:02 already ... And Florida did it without Ricky Harris and had two freshman on the squad !!!

A broken arm is fairly minor on Wade's list of injuries... He was in a major car accident that put his athletics career in jeopardy, but he's got a knack for bouncing back strong.

I never knew that Dan. Thankyou for pointing that out. Larry Wade seems to be quite an accident prone!

Let's hope he can stay healthy in this important Olympic year...Could challenge the likes of Allen Johnson, Xiang Liu, Terrence Trammel and Maurice Wignall.

What is Anier Garcia's form like at the moment??? Ever since he ran 13.10s (-2.2m/s) at the 2002 World Cup in Madrid he seems to have just disappeared, injury problems???

He is reigning OG champ afterall, let's at least hear something 'bout him...

I think Garcia was injured much of last year, but I'm not positive.
