Yeah, Guevara's a Fantasy stud ... when she competes.
You should get excellent hurdles and high jump points up front. The wild card will be how Wade and Krummenacker do.
I'm at about 830 points so far with Ayhan, Kipketer, and Miles still to go. Ayhan scored over 200 her last race before Paris, so I'm hoping for something similar. Kipketer needs to get back to his winning ways and score 160 or better... And Miles looks to be back in good form, so 1300+ looks attainable.

Ah, you read my mind.
1000 points should move you up 100-200 points, I would think, maybe even better. I figure the people around you will score 700-800 this meet. Back in the boondocks where I'm hanging out, people are averaging around 500 per meet, so 1300 would be a major move in the rankings. I could actually see cutting my place in half if all goes well.

Doesn't look good for Krummenacker. Results are in for the first 2 heats, and he managed only 4th (top 2 are auto qualifiers).

The first heat was quite slow, though, so he may still make it in as a time qualifier.

His heat is going to be the fastest by far .... A 1:45 in 4th is big in the 1st round !!! _________________ Conway

Looks like he made it in with the 2nd of 3 time qualifiers. Cutting it rather close... Although, Kipketer actually cut it much closer, beating the 3rd place guy in his heat by a mere 0.01, and in much too slow of a time to make it through without a top-2 placing.

Miles fell a bit shy of my hoped for 120 points in the vault, managing a modest 3-way tie for 6th and scoring 73.1. That moves me up to 900 with Ayhan and Kipketer to go. 1300 will be a bit tough now, unless Kipketer finds the fountain of youth and challenges his WR...

Men's 800m semi #3:
1 5 717 Longo Andrea ITA 1:46.26 Q
2 6 1150 Sepeng Hezekiél RSA 1:46.43 Q
3 2 402 Reina Antonio Manuel ESP 1:46.72
4 1 106 Jansen Joeri BEL 1:46.78
5 4 571 Herms René GER 1:46.88
6 8 1410 Krummenacker David USA 1:47.25
7 3 801 Kimutai Japheth KEN 1:47.53
8 7 155 Dube Glody BOT 1:48.69
Ouch, I think K'nacker shot his wad in the first round... He'd of controlled that race last year. At least he can take solace in beating former golden boy Kimutai.
Bucher and Som didn't advance, either. Looks like it'll be a duel between Borzo and Kipketer.

No Jacobs, Varga, Turova, or Sacramento in the women's 1500m final... Russia's got their usual full contingent, though.
