Both Patton and Capel are as sharp as they have ever been over 100 ... Bodes very well for their 200 prospects in Paris ... And with JJ they form a formidable trio ...

As we speak our 200 crew is the sharpest of the three sprint squads ... 100 is as we know ofull of questions ... As is the 400 really ... WAshington seems sharp but no one else does ...

The americans have had an even more successful record over 200m than the shorter race in the OG and Worldchamps, so they may well continue with this tradition.

Hadn't really thought about it this way but you are right ... Thumbs Up ... Although the 200 has been an event that has not lived up to the hype for about 4 years now ... Would be nice to have a screaming race in Paris ..

__I know that the champs are over, and that MJ is long gone, but with the depth of the US 4x400 m relay, and without anyone to challenge them, the US is likely to repeat the 10 year--streak of all wins in the world championship--class events.
___The 4x400 relay with subs looked great. By the time the anchor got the baton, the US was 30 yards in front of the next team. If the anchor-runner did not slow down (wise decision)over the last 40 yards, they could have gone circa 2:59 flat.
