http://www.dngalan.com/engframe.html

No start lists that I can see, although there is a hint of more to come if you click on "Press Room" on the left.

Thanks for the update. I had been checking every couple of days... Hopefully, they'll get the rest of the events posted soon.

This is going to be a bad one for me. I've only got Bernard Williams. Unless Dan has a way to count the women's 1000 as an 800. Then I've got Kelly Holmes and Nicole Teeter.

I was looking at that women's 1000m and wondering if anything should be done about it. Sort of an unexpected turn of events, so to speak. If people agree that it is closer to the 800m than to the 1500m, I would be willing to convert it via the Purdy Tables and score it as an 800m.

Opinions?

I'd be less than happy with the 1000m being included... mainly because I don't have Mutola and she will clearly win, given the "thin-ness" of the field. Are they treating it as a Golden League event?

Probably not, but there's no 800m being contested for the international field, so I could be wrong.

If Kelly Holmes indeed runs and it is scored as an 800m, I'd actually get a few points. Rolling Eyes My only other athlete entered on the incomplete start lists is Patrick Johnson...

I am all for the conversion. It seems to make sense. Most 800 runners in 1000 seems to make it fair. Just my opinion.

That's my leaning, too, but I want to make sure there aren't any strong objections by those representing themselves here... It goes against the way we (I) opted to do things last year.
