what should she be eating prior to a running event.....how many days and what types of foods should she eat........

Hi Bonnie,

I'm a little confused, does she run twice every day? If so, I'd be more concerned with her over-training than what she eats prior to racing.

Of course, if I misunderstood you... There was a recent thread about carbo-loading in either the running or training forum. For a race as short as 2 miles, I definitely agree with Adam that carbo-loading will have no real benefit. Pay attention to balanced nutrients and foods that don't aggravate the digestive system, and everything should be ok. Smile
