Congrats! It's true, many people run surprisingly well after forced rests. It's a very fine line between pushing to the limit to get the most out of your body and crossing over into cumulative fatigue. That's why coaches are so important. Smile

I think I'm in nearly the same position as you, although I'm not yet ready to try the return to racing. But it certainly is encouraging to be able to get back out there and still have the legs function.

Hi I.m Maigen I'm a freshmen at Ccolerain High School and I recently won state for Ohio this year. I fractured my ankle and I will NEVER run the same again, I'm damaged goods, that's what my coach calls me. thanks
