Hi
I've been running for about two years now, originally to control my weight.
I've been averaging about 9 miles a week.
I have started to train for a Half marathon so have upped my mileage to about 12 miles a week the longest being about 5.5miles.
I have been getting quite bad pain going up through the top of my right foot, which is really annoying me cause I just want to buckle down to my triaing. Have I increased my distance too quickly?
While I was running i felt fairly strong.
Please advise, the half marathon is in May.
Thanks Kerri |

i doubt the pain is from an increase of 3 miles per week and if your doing a half marathon in may you r goin to need to train more than 12 miles a week you should be building upto at least 30 or 40 miles per week. |
