Hi fellow runners! Just passing this info along for a great foundation I work with called the Thomas G. Labrecque Foundation. This is an excellent opportunity to make the marathon experience more meaningful and help raise funds for cancer research.

By pledging to raise funds for the Thomas G. Labrecque Foundation, you will not only earn a guaranteed spot in the marathon through the Special Charity Initiative program, but will help raise awareness about lung cancer, a disease that claims more than 1.3 million lives each year. In fact, more Americans die each year from lung cancer than from breast, prostate, ovarian, and colorectal cancers combined!
