They're never on TV, radio, or anything, and I haven't seen them in the newspaper (unless I'm not looking hard enough). So, what's the best way to keep up on them? Are there any great websites or something?

Check www.iaaf.org regularly. The old t-and-f listserv used to be a great source, but it's mostly inactive now.
