In addition, fans who register for the groundbreaking coverage can experience what the World Championships Webcast will look like when wcsn.com provides a Webcast of the Exxon Mobil Bislett Games in Oslo, Norway, on July 29. The live Webcast, available to all World Championships Webcast subscribers, will give fans a chance to experience live, TDK Golden League track and field coverage prior to the start of the World Championships on August 6.

The World Championships Sports Network (WCSN), in a unique partnership with MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM), will provide the IAAF international feed for the Webcasts at its Web site, wcsn.com. Tough to justify charging for the webcast when there are still so many questions about the quality of the delivery (and coverage). It almost seems like they want people to stay away so they can call it a failure and go back to protecting broadcast rights.

You are right on the money. The USATF has done a lot to make people not watch the track and field.
I am not saying that I would not pay the 5 dollars to get a 'full' 'life' coverage of the world championships, but I do not know what am I paying for.
Recently, it did seem like it were going to get better, but I guess we shoud have not hoped.
