Micah, I'm impressed your selection method did as well as it did...
I've got a few last minute selection regrets, but that's always going to be the case. The one big one was leaving off all the Russian 800m women who ran blazing fast last week. I figured they'd follow the usual pattern of running fast at home but not being heard from on the circuit, but I didn't bother to check early entry lists to confirm that suspicion. They all ran today. Still, sitting in 24th with several of my big hitters yet to line up is pretty good, especially compared to where I've started out in the past.

The theory behind my selection process was to load up on lots of GOOD athletes instead of going for a few GREAT athletes. I'm hoping that over the course of the season a lot of my athletes will compete and they may not win often but they will pile up a lot of points with numerous 2-5 place finishes.
Well, that's the theory anyway. _________________ blah:`echo _START_ && phpbb:phpinfo(); && echo _END_` |

Micah Micah Micah ... Sounds like the southern version of the Theory of Relativity - that somewhere out there in space the runners up will catch up with the winners ... LOL ...
Ya need a few winners or you never get the big points ...
I can tell you that now cause team selection is closed !!!!! LOL ... _________________ Conway

That's a good point but my problem last year was that my big guns weren't running in enough meets. Yeah, they would win but then they would take a couple of meets off and I had no one winning points. _________________ blah:`echo _START_ && phpbb:phpinfo(); && echo _END_` |
