___Well--seeded meet will be held in Flanders, Belgium, in the city of Gent. Many top-notch European and African athletes will participate. In spite of a few stars missing, the 60--meter competition will feature Aliu Deji, Frank Mayola, Mark Lewis-Francis, Nagel Morne, and many others. The 200—meter competition will be plagued by the European star-want-to bees. Women’s 60—meter competition will be short of star studded with Christine Aaron and home—grown Kim Gevaert. The 3000 meters does strike my interest because of Lidia Chojecka and Wioleta Janowska participation. Chojecka has been a solid athlete on my Fantasy Track and Field www.run-down.com team, and Janowska should cost me a few virtual bucks, but earn a lot of points. The women’s 200 meters, 800 meters, men’s 800 meters, and 1500 meters as well as women’s high jump should bring some excitement as well.
