I don't get USA network, so didn't watch the trials today. But from the times it looks like Alan Webb is cruising. And what happened to Mike Miller? He came in at 4:12  That might be the slowest Trials 1500 m ever. Any comments from those who saw the 1500 m semis on TV?

The top guys were mostly cruising ... Webb, Stember, Robison, Gruber, Sage, Lunn ... And they have a day off before the final ... I think we might finally get a decent time at the Trials in the final ... There are a good half dozen guys with a shot at the team ... And I get the feeling that Webb is going to go out in the final and just run his race - which would ensure his place on the team .. The others will have to try and follow ... So I think we may see something around 3:34/3:35, which would be nice for a change ... _________________ Conway

Miller has a habit of getting tripped up in Nationals meets... Wouldn't surprise me if he took another digger yesterday.

I'm not sure, but I also noticed it wasn't a great showing for the Oregon crew of Berryhill, Miller, and Grant Robison... I seem to recall something about a change of coaching for Berryhill.
