hello, just a thought. would it be better for me to do a warm up then do 50 push ups, or split it into 2 sets of 30? does more low work outs have a different effect than one hard work out? |

Tough to answer that without knowing what you want to get out of it. Every variation of training will have a somewhat different effect. 60 is obviously better than 50, but 2x30 becomes more of a strength approach than the "aerobic" 1x50, but it might not be enough of a difference with those numbers to be noticeable. Personally, I would go for 1x50 and then as much as I could do for a follow-up, say 1x20.

ok cheers dan. i just got to set up a good weights training scheme becauase now the weathers getting cold here in england i got to limit my running to aviod catching a cold. im gonna bulk up in the winter so that during summer i will have the muscle and only have to work on fitness. not that fitness is easy. |
