I have just started running as for general fitness, and I'm not really sure where to begin. I've been running for 2 days on, 1 day off, and am able to run for 20 minutes at a time. I'm not sure whether I should be trying to run for a further time each week (eg increasing time by 5 minutes a week) or trying to run further. Or, am I going about it in completely the wrong way?
Any help you could give me would be appreciated

When you're just starting, there's really no wrong way to go about it. As long as you listen to your body, you should be fine slowly adding to your long runs and overall weekly mileage. Fancy programs are mostly just a way to keep you motivated. In the end, it all comes down to getting out there and running...

Just eat right, drink plenty of fluids and have running.
Cool
